What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Oversee and manage Security Operations Center (SOC) functions and technology tools to ensure security and efficiency
• Monitor the organization's information assets, systems, and infrastructure, proactively identifying and responding to potential threats
• Conduct threat hunting campaigns, incident management, malware and forensics analysis, and information dissemination
• Provide cyber threat and vulnerability intelligence to enhance security measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess website application security vulnerabilities

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Must be eligible for appointment and have authorization to work in the United States
• Proven experience in event and log analysis/triage, and SIEM solutions
• Familiarity with IPS/IDS, enterprise network communications hardware, and software systems
• Strong knowledge of patch and vulnerability management, server and desktop protections, and endpoint management
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are highly valued

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Proven experience in scripting and programming languages
• Familiarity with virtual and cloud computing environments
• Expertise in proxy servers and mainframe systems
• Experience in conducting threat hunting campaigns and incident management
