Founding Product Manager

This is a full-time role as a Founding Product Manager, located onsite in New York, NY.

Folks looking to pivot from a compliance role (CCO, consultant, analyst, etc.) to a technology role are strongly encouraged to apply!

As the first product management hire at Hadrius, you will be working directly with the founding team and an elite team of engineers to shape the future of the SEC/FINRA compliance technology landscape from the ground floor of a hyper growth startup. This is a rare opportunity for folks in compliance roles to pivot their careers into VC-backed high-growth technology companies (and escape race-to-the-bottom private equity).

As we grow, there are plenty of opportunities for leadership and we pride ourselves on having a hands off culture by having very few meetings while giving everyone a broad scope of responsibility. Work closely with an elite team of engineers from Google, Chime, Microsoft, Zynga, Ivy league universities, and founders with previous exits. You'll be on a team that works incredibly hard and seeks other exceptional people excited to do the same.

Responsibilities

First week:

• Hadrius product management bootcamp
  • Required reading to get up to speed on how tech companies operate
  • 1:1's with everyone in the company and deep dives into all aspects of the business
  • Training and familiarity with all of the technology we use to ship software at light-speed
• Hadrius bootcamp
  • Ramp up to becoming an expert on everything we offer
  • Join 3-5 demo calls with AEs
  • Become an expert on 1-2 high priority modules that you will own

First month:

• Work closely with engineering, design, leadership, prospects and customers to expand our business and be directly responsible to at least one major deal

First 3 months & beyond:

• Continuing to develop the above skillset, paying special attention that the features we develop solve our customers' problems
• Operating fairly autonomously, setting your own meetings, doing your own research, pushing the envelope in your product areas
• Playing a major role in influencing the roadmap for our engineering team

About You

• Exceptionally skilled : You know more about SEC/FINRA compliance than we do.
• Coachable: Open to learning the Hadrius way and raising the bar while you're at it.
• Growth mindset: You're consistently the hardest working person on your team because you're driven to improve yourself and your work each day.
• All-in: This is not a 9-5. We have a massive opportunity ahead of us and are looking to multiply our engineering speed. We are optimizing for the best folks and are happy to compensate generously (with equity!).
• Autonomy: Exercise a high-degree of autonomy
• Techie: You are familiar with many technology solutions in our space and deeply aware of their strengths and weaknesses

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SEC/FINRA compliance
• Clear communicator with a penchant for solving problems
• Willing to relocate to NYC
