Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The primary role of a Warehouse Worker is to efficiently receive, store, and distribute materials, equipment, and various items from stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately count stock items, recording data manually or using computer systems.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigating discrepancies or making necessary adjustments.
• Organize items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards by cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas.
• Keep detailed records on the usage and condition of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any damage to supervisors.
• Offer assistance or guidance to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.88 - $20.88/hr.
