Job Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and  customer-oriented  Systems Administrator to join our team onsite in  Jacksonville, FL .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide Tier 3 technical remote and onsite support and guidance to NCTE Range end-users, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system configurations and network connectivity for Range POR systems

• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and best practices, with a focus on maintaining a secure IT environment

• Strong understanding of Group Policy Management and Active Directory in Windows environments

• Experience writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT systems and processes

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively

• Up to 25% travel can be expected

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

• Experience in system administration, with proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments

• Must have CompTIA Security+ CE and

• Must have VMware, Windows, or Linux Operating System (OS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
