Job Description
We are looking for a R&D Data Scientist Intern to join our team. You will help support the rapid growth of the Spark and Digital Orthodontic business unit of Envista. The R&D Data Scientist Intern will partner with fellow Engineers and Production teams to execute on project objectives and team goals. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Support various data analytics projects. Create and maintain server scripts to extract and compile data. Provide data visualization and presentation for stakeholders on a regular basis. Job Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or Business Analytics. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Python (scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas), AWS services (Athena, SageMaker) and Microsoft Excel. A portfolio of project experiences in data analytics preferred. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and draw meaningful insights. Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
