SCN Level III experience
Sole in-house provider with no additional backup or specialty services in-house; responsible for delivery attendance and resuscitation; stabilization and transfer to higher level of care as needed; daily rounding and notes for NICU babies.
Procedures:
• NRP standards of resuscitation
• Endotracheal intubation
• UAC/UVC insertion
• Chest tube (pigtail) insertion
• IV and veinipuncture - often relied upon to draw labs and start IV s
• Experience with neonatal abstinence syndrome and pharmacological management of NAS
• EPIC emr system
