What You Need to Know This role involves supporting regional mission capacity building, informing leadership about community needs, strengthening relationships, and serving as the primary liaison to the community. You will work with volunteers and staff to deliver mission services and be a member of the Region Leadership Team. Additionally, you’ll support volunteer engagement and recognition efforts. Key Responsibilities Represent the Red Cross in the community to enhance visibility and recognition, managing strategic relationships with key contacts. Develop and sustain community relationships to meet regional goals related to revenue, volunteer engagement, blood collection, and community involvement. Manage community volunteer leaders to support mission capacity, develop partnerships, and recruit volunteers. Foster an inclusive team environment to effectively deliver on the Red Cross mission. Support disaster response efforts as part of the Elected Officials Liaison Network, when assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years related experience, demonstrating sound judgment, strong communication, influencing skills, and experience in fundraising and community partnership development. Management experience preferred, with flexibility and change management skills.
