Job Description

We are seeking a hard-working and motivated Director of Sales to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. The individual in this role will be responsible for driving company growth and market expansion, managing a sales team, and cultivating relationships with key customers. This role requires personal drive, tireless persistence and strategic sales skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and oversee implementation of sales strategies by the sales team to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to senior management, providing insights into market dynamics and sales performance
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention while ensuring the company maintains a good position in the market
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the leadership team
  • Oversee and participate in the negotiation and closing of sales opportunities, including short-term and long-term contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies
  • Analyze the strategies, market positions, budgets and goals of potential clients
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards in all sales operations
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and industry conferences
  • Plan and attend customer entertainment events
  • All other duties as assigned
JOB SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business or Supply Chain
  • 5+ years proven track record in sales and marketing or Supply Chain
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the oil & gas and/or frac sand industry
  • Highly motivated problem solver and critical thinker
  • Ability to travel weekly/bi-weekly
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail
