About the Internship:
Are you a curious and driven student with a passion for data and a gift for uncovering insights? Join CEGsoft as a Data Science and Engineering Intern and play a crucial role in understanding our products and users on a deeper level. You'll work on extracting meaningful insights from our product data to help us make smarter decisions and improve our offerings.
What You'll Do:
As a Data Science and Engineering Intern, you will focus on developing product data insights by:
Analyzing user behavior and feature usage to identify trends and patterns.
Building models to predict key outcomes such as customer churn probability.
Identifying users who are not fully leveraging the most valuable features of our products.
Contributing to the development of data pipelines and infrastructure to support these analyses.
Presenting your findings and recommendations to the product and development teams.
What You'll Learn:
During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in:
Applying data science techniques to real-world product data.
Working with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Developing predictive models and performing statistical analysis.
Communicating data-driven insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Understanding the data landscape within a SaaS (Software as a Service) company.
What We're Looking For:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
A passion for working with data and extracting meaningful insights.
Very Good to Have Skills:
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with SQL for data querying.
Knowledge of R for statistical computing.
